In Winter, our romantic mountain valley is covered in a layer of snow.  Ideal for those with snow-shoes to explore the idyllic winter countryside or for a cross-country skiing holiday.

We provide on loan snow-shoes and cross-country ski equipment free of charge.

The cross-country ski tracks depart direct from »KRANZBACH« across the snow covered meadows to Elmau or Klais.  Additionally, we have many more routes in close proximity for you to test.

The ‘Alpenwelt Karwendl’ ski school is our partner for cross-country skiing and alpine skiing.

The Ski school is run by former World Cup winner, Max Rieger, who will ensure you are instructed by one of his highly qualified and competent team.

At the foot of the Kranzbergs mountain lies the ‘Alpenwelt Karwendel Ski School’, a mere 10 minutes drive from the hotel.  The Kranzberg ski area consists of one chairlift and 7 draglifts and is ideal for a couple of pleasurable hours on well prepared pistes away from the busier major resorts.
