Almost 100 years ago, at the base of the Zugspitz Mountain, a British lady aristocrat had built this typical English country home - popularly called the "Kranzbach Castle". One of a kind in Bavaria, this country manor has now received a new, extraordinary purpose: it has evolved into a unique vacation resort offering far more than a romantic evening in an alpine setting.

The "Mary Portman House", modernized but retaining the original ambience, and our new annex, referred to as the "Scenic View", have been carefully transformed into an oasis of wood and glass, lots of space and traditional as well as modern styles. Our priority: The comfort of our guests.
